1. How much does camp cost?
HHVB camp is $175 per camper and includes all 5 days of camp.
2. What should my daughter bring?
Because they are playing volleyball we’d suggest they bring a water bottle, and knee pads, but they are surely optional! We will provide everything else.
3. Can my daughter be grouped with her friend?
Absolutely. Please send an email to horshamvolleyball@gmail.com requesting who they be grouped with to ensure that happens.
4. How are “Teams” formed?
We try to keep similar age groups together as best as possible but move players from group to group based upon experience and skill level!
5. What kind of experience does my daughter need for this camp?
None at all! We offer the camp for those who are brand new the sport and accommodate to those with experience in more challenging environments.
6. What if my daughter has specific medical/special needs?
Not a problem. Please make sure we are aware before camp starts by sending details to horshamvolleyball@gmail.com.
7. Can my daughter go for part of the camp?
Occasionally we have people ask if they can go to part of the camp because they will be away or unavailable for portions of the camp. The answer is yes, but please give us a call or drop us an email with the request prior to registration and we can provide more details.
8. Does my daughter have to be in the HH school district to attend?
Nope! All are welcome within the incoming 3rd – 9th grades!
9. How is someone being hurt in camp handled?
We are proud to say that no one has been seriously injured during the HHVB camp. That being said we have basic first aid kids for simple scrapes, burns, bumps, etc. If an injury that requires more attention occurs we have an on-staff trainer and your medical information on hand for immediate contact.
10. What are the staff qualifications?
All adults working at the camp will have a strong background in volleyball and have also provided all necessary clearances to do so.
11. Who will the camp counselors be?
Camp counselors are comprised of 25+ current HHVB members and staff. This gives us the ability to have 1 counselor to about 4 kids!
